Often, what feels like just anxiety is actually a signal from your higher self, telling you that it's time for change. Your emotions are powerful guides, and when we don't listen to them, we find ourselves trapped in cycles of stress and fear. In "From Saddie to Baddie," we use meditation and breathwork to connect deeper with these feelings, understanding their roots and transforming them into stepping stones towards empowerment.
With 'From Saddie to Baddie', my goal is to create a community where women can feel secure and connected, using breath to tune into their bodies and minds, ultimately feeling their absolute best.
Somatic breathwork has been a transformative part of my own healing journey and remains a staple in my daily routine, helping me stay in tune with my best self.
For a long time, I chased an unrealistic ideal of perfection—imagining a life free from anxiety or negative emotions. But I've learned that it's not about never feeling anxious; it's about having the right tools to manage these feelings effectively, both before they arise and in the moment they occur. This practice has significantly shifted my baseline, reducing my anxiety and enhancing my daily well-being.
I'm excited to share these tools through these free group sessions, helping others find the same peace and power within themselves.
Why Somatic Breathwork?
Somatic Breathwork is grounded in the understanding that our bodies hold onto past traumas, stresses, and emotional upheavals. These stored experiences can manifest as anxiety, fatigue, or a pervasive sense of dissatisfaction—symptoms that you may have come to accept as normal. However, through Somatic Breathwork, we address these issues directly by engaging the body as an active participant in your healing process.
This approach doesn't just help you relax; it allows you to experience and interact with your body's own wisdom.
During each session, you will be guided through specific breathing patterns designed to enhance self-awareness and emotional release.
This isn't about controlling your breath with your mind; it's about listening to and aligning with your body's natural rhythms and needs.

By doing so, you learn to:

-
Recognize and Release: Identify the physical sensations associated with emotional blockages and consciously release them through controlled breathing.
-
Restore Balance: Somatic Breathwork helps reset your nervous system, shifting you from a state of fight-or-flight to rest-and-digest, where true healing can occur.
-
Reconnect: As you become more attuned to your body's signals and responses, you develop a deeper, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
This is not just about temporary relief; it's about initiating a lasting change that expands your capacity to handle life's challenges with grace and strength. Each breath taken in these sessions is a step towards not only meeting but embodying your highest self.

I describe my approach as "blunt with a side of woo woo" including a blend of holistic practices, somatic breathwork, and spirituality to help you tap into your inner confidence and rewrite the stories you tell yourself.
My role is to guide ambitious women on a journey to align with their true selves, moving past self-doubt and limiting beliefs.

With "Saddie to Baddie", I hope to cultivate a community for women to feel safe, tune into their mind and body through their breath and feel their best. Somatic breathwork has been a key factor in my journey in healing and is a consistent practice in my life to keep me feeling like my best self. For so long I used to search for perfection, where I'd never have anxious thoughts or experience negative emotions which is not practical. I've realized it's more productive to have tools in the toolbox to use both proactively and reactively. It's not about not ever experiencing anxiety, but to know how to snap out of it quickly and effectively. I used to run highly anxious and I can confidently say, this work has changed my baseline in how good I feel each day.
